I am am Jessica Lyn, but I am almost insistent that I be called Jess. I am not a simple girl, I am very complicated, but it's more fun that way. I am a VERY PROUD Army Wife. I have a very short attention span, and I love to laugh, and slip around my kitchen in socks. I have an awesome family and through them have learned blood really is thicker than water. I believe it is more human nature to love than too hate, you are born loving, you must learn hate. I have a big soft spot for only a few people, but those people, they know who they are. I’m the girl that believes that anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has NEVER danced in the rain. I know who I am, for the most part, but i am still learning, and everyday I learn that I am stronger than what I thought, and that I am able to keep going long after I think I am done. I was a nanny for a long time but since our move I've enrolled in school (I want to become a medical assistant) and am focusing souly on that and loving my husband and furbaby.
About The Soldier;
His name is Ryan and I think he's perfect, but I am pretty biased. He is a black hawk crew chief and no matter how much he complains, he loves it. He's a runner at heart, always has been always will be and although he also complains about PT, don't let him fool you, he enjoys it...he's just not a morning person. He is the biggest Angels fan you will ever meet and has almost convinced me to root for them over the Red Sox, almost, but not quite though occasionally I tell him I've converted just to humor him. He's a pretty easy going guy and he likes to say that as long as you're not an idiot, he'll get along with you just fine! Yeah, I'd say he's the nicer of the two of us.
About The Couple;
We've known each other for years. Been together a long time. Married on March 21, 2009 and we both agree it was the best day of our lives thus far. We call each other our lobsters. If you get the reference, we like you because you like F.R.I.E.N.D.S. We like to be out doors, with friends, at home, on dates, anything really as long as we're together. We are hardly perfect, but we're learning and each day is better than the last...most of the time!
About The Furbaby;
That four legged cutie up there is Bentley, a Shitzu/Chihuahua mix (we don't buy it for a minute, she's too cute to be either of those things let alone both) and she is the queen of our castle or at least she believes that she is. She loves to give kisses even when we might not be so keen on receiving them, just wants to cuddle with and be close to us, always has to know what’s going on because God forbid she miss anything, and absolutely loves balls and ropes! We haven’t decided if she’s a bit dumb or just stubborn, though we’re leaning towards the latter of the two, she is at a year old, still a puppy and very much loved. She listens to mom the best and only responds to dad when he uses a high pitched very happy voice, something he isn’t exactly thrilled about, but most days, he humors her. She proves what they say is true, dogs have a personality and her’s is huge.
